Location: Libby Gallery, Hand Art Center In collaboration with Green Circle, a community-focused art gallery located in DeLand and in Cocoa Village, enjoy a lively discussion on self-taught art. Tim Peterson will paint during the discussion, allowing participants to experience his creative process in real time.
Curated by Amarige Champion, this exhibit explores the artist’s dramatic shift from architecture to painting, sparked by a contentious court case with his former partner. Featuring Bluemner’s early sketches and later paintings, the exhibition reveals the pivotal moments that shaped his artistic path.
In addition to exploring the exhibits on display, the public is invited to enjoy guided and self-guided art activities from 2 pm and 4 pm. All ages welcome!
