Julius Oskar Blümner (Oscar Florianus Bluemner) was born June 21, 1867, in Prenzlau, Prussia (now Germany). In 1997, his life’s work was generously donated to Stetson University by his daughter, the late Vera Bluemner Kouba.
Spend the day at the Hand Art Center to unleash your imagination! Curated by Christina Knowles and Sierra Rouse, A Kid’s Animal Adventure features artwork by Natalie Thomas and Oscar Bluemner. Enjoy special events and self-guided art stations in the Bluemner Gallery and a music-themed exhibition by the group Beaux Arts of Central Florida.
