Vera Bluemner Kouba\, the artist’s daughter\, generously gifted 1\,000 pieces of her late father’s art and personal effects to Stetson. The second publication project of the Center For Post-Capitalist History by artist and writer Leah Sandler\, Notes From the Archivist chronicles the Archivist’s attempt to log shifting scales of time through accretions of daily life in the form of journal entries\, memorandums\, manifestos and photographs.  \n\n\n\nA Field Guide to Embodied Archiving \n\n\n\nThe Center for Post-Capitalist History invites you to consider your own body and subjectivity in relation to the writing of history. As a field guide\, this publication has a goal of helping you identify your own body as a valuable archive of information. Through this process\, your body-archive reveals inconsistencies between Capitalism’s promises of infinite progress and the reality of the unsustainable and destructive nature inherent in its systems of production. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA Field Guide to Embodied Archiving will be available for purchase after the performance. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nLeah Sandler (born 1992) is an interdisciplinary artist\, writer and educator based in Central Florida. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College in 2014 and a Master of Fine Arts from University of the Arts Philadelphia in 2017\, and currently teaches video and photography at Stetson University. Recent exhibitions include CPCH TV (a solo exhibition at the South Bend Museum of Art)\, Quarter Life Crisis!
