Lecture with Elizabeth Glander on Art Conservation

Elizabeth Glander is a second-year graduate fellow in the Winterthur University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation (WUDPAC), focusing on paintings conservation.  Elizabeth grew up in DeLand, FL, and in her senior year of high school she began her career as professional ballet dancer.  After a nine-year career, Elizabeth retired from professional ballet and attended Walsh University.  She graduated summa cum laude from Walsh with a BA in Museum Studies and triple minors including Chemistry, Art History, and Art.  During her time as an undergrad Elizabeth interned at ICA – Art Conservation, a nonprofit regional art conservation lab in Cleveland, OH.  Elizabeth has also interned at the Toledo Museum of Art and the Williamstown and Atlanta Art Conservation Centers.  During the summer in between her first and second year at WUDPAC, Elizabeth interned at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.
