DESCRIPTION:at Gallery duPont \n\n\n\n\n\nCharlotte Holley\, Curator \n\n\n\nDr. Katya Kudryavtseva\, Faculty Mentor \n\n\n\nReception: March 23 at 5 pm \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nScrapped! brings together four scrapbooks—crafted in 1916\, 1947\, 1971\, and 2025—by women who attended Stetson University across four generations. More than personal keepsakes\, these scrapbooks serve as rich archival records\, capturing daily life and their evolving roles over the past century. Through photographs\, clippings\, mementos\, and handwritten notes\, visitors will explore how women documented their identities\, relationships\, and activities within and beyond campus life. Together\, they invite us to reconsider what we preserve\, who does the preserving\, and why it matters. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSponsored in part by the LaValle Experiential Learning Fund and the State of Florida through the Division of Arts and Culture and the National Endowment for the Arts.

Closed July 2-4. \n\n\n\nIn partnership with Visit West Volusia\, this art exhibit focuses on documenting adventures near and far for children of all ages. From discovering our local natural springs to admiring the downtown murals\, you can capture your own backyard just as Oscar Bluemner did in this collection. From lush forests to quiet towns\, he produced sketches and notes on location\, capturing the scenes before him.
