SUMMARY:Lecture with Cat Gambel
DESCRIPTION:Cat Gambel is a visual artist and scholar from New Orleans\, Louisiana. Her work centers around the swamp as a site of resistance and unbecoming\, with a focus on queer futures and speculative worldmaking. In 2017\, she received an M.A. in Art & Process from Crawford College of Art & Design in Cork\, Ireland. From 2021-2023\, she served as the director of The Art Gallery (TAG) at the University of West Florida.
