DESCRIPTION:Exhibit Reception: Thursday\, January 22\, 6-8 pm \n\n\n\nArtist Talk: Saturday\, February 7 at 2 pm \n\n\n\nIn this site-specific exhibition\, artist and curator Jay Henderson explores the concept of Anti-Mapping Architecture through a display featuring his latest body of work and a selection of Oscar Bluemner (1867-1938) pieces from Vera Bluemner Kouba Collection. \n\n\n\nJay Henderson is an artist and curator who works primarily with sculpture and drawing relating to critical issues of the built environment. His artwork has been exhibited at Artists Space (NYC)\, Underdonk (NYC)\, Participant Inc. (NYC)\, Flux Factory (NYC)\, Frosch & Portmann Gallery (NYC)\, Cornell University\, and the Kunsthochscule für Medien Köln (Germany)\, among other venues. From 2008-2015\, he curated exhibitions in NYC\, Montreal\, Berlin\, and Mexico City with HKJB\, a nomadic curatorial group he co-founded with artist Benjamin King. His artwork and curatorial practice have been written about in Hyperallergic\, Brooklyn Magazine\, Bushwick Daily and NYFA Current\, among others. DESCRIPTION:The Studio Art Program at Stetson University is opening its doors to the public for an exciting behind the scenes  experience on Saturday\, March 21 from noon to 4 pm. Enjoy a student art sale\, a silent benefit auction featuring artworks by Studio Art professors\, students and alumni\, an insider look into studio spaces\, and a live demo of ceramic 3D printing. Also on view: a Junior Preview exhibition at Duncan Gallery and the last day to view Looks Good on Paper and Anti-Mapping Architecture at the Hand. \n\n\n\nParents and guardians – we did not forget you!
